Build Bridges not Walls…

WordPress the blog people have invited bloggers to use BRIDGE as a #WordPrompt for a post this month. Creating via words or images.

I have chosen the panoramic picture I took of the three bridges spaning the Firth of Forth. From left to right, Queensferry Crossing (2017), The Forth Road Bridge (1964) and The Forth Rail Bridge (1890) The picture was taken from the shores of South Queensferry on a damp morning before lunch.

It always seems to me that when bridges span great divides, they are more impressive than walls that create division.

Given that walls are for enemies and bridges are for friends, perhaps we need to spend more time making friendships to allow us the freedom and luxury to “Build Bridges not Walls”
