Bude and Polzeath

No trip to Cornwall is complete without a visit to our go to place – Bude… One of those places in life we feel is like returning home. Like a comfortable jumper, Bude just seems to fit and hug all at the same time. A walk around the headland from Summerleaze to Crooklets beach, past the sea pool heals the soul!

The cliff top flowers were in bloom too, which was an added bonus.

Todays Lunch was from the wonderful Olive Tree on the canal. Bathed in sunlight we enjoyed another great meal.

Polzeath

Our evening was a visit to Polzeath just 10 minutes from where we are staying. Dogs are only allowed on the beach before 10am and after 6pm (hence our late visit) We were not sure what to expect, but were really taken by the beauty of this beach. Long time fans of Mawgan Porth, another cove near Bude… Polzeath was very similar but perhaps better.

Always ready for a photo shoot Jessie and Max found a neat backdrop.

The flowers and sky make a stunning combination or am I wrong ?
