Cornwall

Our vacation in Cornwall has come to a close. We have enjoyed good food, sunshine, walks and beaches. Dozens of photographs and videos have been taken, some shared here, all filed away.

On the beach at Mawgan Porth yesterday I hastily took some video of the dogs. I could hardly see the phone screen due to the sun on it, so when I reviewed the clips I was pleasantly surprised, I was expecting nothing of use.

If you want to know how to enjoy the beach just watch a dog!! Jessie is 10 this summer but as soon as she feels sun on her back and sand under her paws she turns into a daft puppy. #bemoredog

I compiled the clips and set them to a classic Beatles track, recorded with my guitar in the holiday home living room, using my phone and its in built microphone. Yes I took a guitar on holiday.. Its a great way to unwind. (Bandlab is a great way to edit recoding’s on a phone)

“There are places I’ll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain”

In My Life – The Beatles

Mawgan Porth is one of those places we will always remember. Likewise Jessie bouncing around like a muppet is something we love to watch and always enjoy.

It’s easy to go on holiday and take all of your worries with you, to sit on the beach and think of jobs not done. All those things you left at home will still be there when you return, so let them go.

Live in the moment and be more dog like!
